The Josoor Experience: Meet our Delegates

At the core of Josoor are the Delegates, in other words, all those individuals that through Josoor have an opportunity to build knowledge and expertise in the sports and events industry in Qatar, the greater MENA region, and internationally. Our Delegates cut across gender, age, origin, sector and competencies and are engaged from the beginning of their Josoor experience as proud members of a dynamic learning community and professional network. Teamwork, experiential learning, concrete scenarios, field visits and networking push the Delegates towards being hands-on, solution-oriented, collaborative on problems and projects, ultimately helping them prepare for their future roles in the industry. 

The exposure to the preparation of the FIFA World Cup 2022 ™ is a distinctive feature of the Josoor experience. What’s more, some of our Delegates are colleagues from Supreme Committee and the greater football family directly working on the delivery of the tournament, an unprecedented event that is paving the way for other major events and the further development of the industry in the country and the region in the decades ahead. In that vein, Josoor also organizes networking opportunities and private sessions for Delegates with organizations in the sports and events industry as potential future employers of choice, and is building a career services division to bridge between alumni and the job market.
